Hello eloer (Export Leftoverian),
As we welcome 2020, I'd love to look back at everything the elo team accomplished in the last year.
2019 was incredibly busy for us, we opened up a new office in Lahore, launched tonnes of new products, established partnerships with 57 factories across Pakistan, served more than half a million customers- selling more than 10 million items and created 31 new jobs.
Our Head Office in Satiana Road, Faisalabad feels like home, and it’s getting cozier, too: the elo team is 107 strong and counting.
We've continued to innovate and expand upon our lineup by launching products that incorporate only leftover materials with our Polo Republica Brand. We used more than 6,000,000 meters of leftover fabric, zips, buttons & accessories to make garments & bed sheets. We will be doubling down on our commitment to making clothing/ textiles more sustainable & affordable. We have a bunch of great new projects planned for 2020 and can't wait to share it with you soon.
As always, elo continues to grow and improve thanks to the support of our community. Last year we shipped over 2,146,000 packages to 2,115 cities, towns and villages across Pakistan.
In 2019 we also pledged to reduce our impact on the environment by making all our flyers biodegradable. We’ve committed to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible and offset what we can’t reduce. And this is just a start as we work to find new ways to build sustainability into our business model. We aim to have 0 Textile Waste in our main factory in Faisalabad by 2022.
It’s crazy to think that it’s just been little over six years since we launched Export Leftovers (Now known as elo) from my father’s factory's meeting room in Faisalabad in December 2013. To those of you who have known us since the early days, I’d like to promise that elo will continue to stay true to our community-backed roots. And to those of you who just joined us: welcome to the roaring twenty twenties, we’ve got some of our best stuff yet in the works.
